We partner with you to be your best professionally, no matter where you live in Australia, with:

1. Welcome meetings with your personal mentor

Once we have received your enrolment, we'll arrange two welcome meetings (by zoom meetings if you live outside of Brisbane) with your personal mentor. In your second meeting, you'll gain access to and begin using our eLearning portal.

2. Access to our eLearning portal

This provides you with video tutorials, templates, helpful resources and assessment guidance for each unit to guide your professional learning. You can revisit this information on your phone or laptop, where and when suits you.

3. Zoom workshops

You are invited to regular Zoom workshops to overview key unit content, and to discuss the case study and assessment tasks with other Early Childhood leaders/managers.

4. A personal mentor to support your professional growth

Your personal mentor is a First Door qualified trainer and assessor, is qualified and well experienced in Early Childhood management, and in supporting people to flourish in their role. We enjoy developing a relationship with you over the duration of the course, with:

  • phone or zoom meetings to gain insights and consider how you are (or could be) using your learning in the workplace
  • assessment guidance and support

5. Practical assessment with workplace projects and constructive feedback

Each assessment has been designed by First Door to develop and use essential leadership/management knowledge and skills. You'll complete relevant workplace projects so you can put your learning into practice as you complete each assessment workbook.
